In November 2005, just minutes before the Gotan Project were due onstage at the Gran Rex theatre in central Buenos Aires, Argentina, band guitarist and native Argentine, Eduardo Makaroff, summed it all up in one key quote: „The lyrics of many of the famous tango songwriters would always talk about going back to this city, and so we’re returning to the South and to the place that’s in our hearts.“

Unter dem Aufhänger „Who can you trust?“ werden sich die Hacker im Umfeld des Chaos Computer Club (CCC) zwischen den Jahren auf dem 23. Chaos Communication Congress (23C3) im Berliner Congress Center vier Tage lang mit Themen wie drohenden neuen gesetzlichen Verboten ihrer Arbeit, dem drohenden Verlust der Demokratie durch Wahlmaschinen, RFID und anderen staatlichen wie privaten Überwachungstechniken befassen.

GIMPshop is a modification of the free/open source graphics program GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP), intended to replicate the feel of Adobe Photoshop. Its primary purpose is to make users of Photoshop feel comfortable using GIMP.
It shares all of GIMP’s advantages, including the long feature list, customisability, and availability on multiple platforms, while addressing some common criticisms regarding the program’s interface: GIMPshop modifies the menu structure to more closely resemble Photoshop and adjusts the program’s terminology to match Adobe’s. In the Windows version, GIMPshop uses a plugin called ‘Deweirdifier’ to combine the application’s numerous windows in a similar manner to the MDI system used by most Windows graphics packages. From March 2006, it supports Photoshop plugins, through a host plugin that can run on Microsoft Windows or Linux, pspi. All of GIMP’s own plugins (filters, brushes, etc.) remain available.

The main purpose of DragThing is to make items on your Mac such as files, folders, applications, disks, URLs, clippings, and even windows, quickly and easily accessible, while taking up as little space on your screen as possible.
The main elements with which DragThing enables this speedy access are its docks. DragThing’s docks, unlike the Mac OS X system dock, are highly configurable and you can have multiple docks, customised to suit your specific circumstances.

Typography for free findet man bei exljbris.
Fontin
The Fontin is designed to be used at small sizes. The color is darkish, the spacing loose and the x-height tall.
Delicious
The Delicious is a font I designed because of my admiration for typography. It got a bit out of hand and in two years it resulted in a complete font family.
Tallys
Tallys is a font that is one degree slanted and has large caps, a small x-height and long ascenders. It comes (see also Fontin) with hybrid numbers and a complete character set.
Fertigo
The font nobody is really waiting for. It’s a bit like Laphroaic; the more you get to know it, the more you’ll (probably) appreciate it. With it’s auto-ligatures (no Open Type programms needed), a complete character set and many other unknown features it can be hard to resist. Anyway… there’s just one way to give it a Fertigo…
