We love Apple. Apple knows more about “clean” design than anybody, right? So why do Macs, iPods, iBooks and the rest of their product range contain hazardous substances that other companies have abandoned? A cutting edge company shouldn’t be cutting lives short by exposing children in China and India to dangerous chemicals. That’s why we Apple fans need to demand a new, cool product: a greener Apple.

This note describes the 15-inch MacBook Pro computers based on the 2.16 GHz or 2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo microprocessor and introduced in October 2006. It includes information about distinguishing features of the computer, including components on the main logic board: the microprocessor, the other main ICs, and the buses that connect them to each other and to the I/O interfaces.
The computer comes with Mac OS X version 10.4.8 installed.
